Voices

Whispering voices wisp

And drift with each

Thought

Memory

Locked away

Hidden in murmurs lost

Time

Talking!

Unceasing ever

Talking, speaking, regaling

Indecipherable languages

Of tone and knowledge.

Grumblings!

Chimes, phones, whispers

Dance untethered in air

In rippled waves of song

Cacophony of voices

Move and sway

The echo of stomps

Ring through silence

Stop!

Constant mutterings reveal

Lost words only

Memorable for some

Although told by many

Escape through clenched

Closed lips unleashing

Unevolved minds into

My world.

Music!

Unmelodic quavers dance

Resting dulcet spoken tones

Tell all moments reveal to some

From secrets bidden

To the fore.

Too loud!

Clear voices

Indelicately release privacy’s

Thought locked and bound

To shift and shiver across

Stale, ill winds to pass

All on to another.

Cease!
